We are suddenly concerned about percentage and ranking and making the grade. So caught up are we in being secure academically, we pay less and less attention to what and how we are actually learning. If I secure above 90% in all my subjects but am left with no real skill except the ability to memorize, I am in trouble for the rest of my days on earth.
