| The Workshop on Cross-functional Communication |
| |
| The individual at work is responsible for understanding, operating and executing a specific
function. A shortsighted approach to work is about doing just that. In this workshop we explore the position each
function holds vis-à-vis the larger interest of the organization. We find the primary relationships each
function has with other functions. We find out what inputs we require from each other and what feedback we in turn
must offer. We make the effort to build support for each other, identifying problem statements and creating solution
options. We build a network of communication across functions that goes beyond formatted impersonal contact. |
