It was a long time ago…when fairies
still seemed real and dreams were just a breath away. A crisp winter morning woke me early and brought me to my
first small gathering of a few kids and an adult whose dreams knew no bounds.
Little Extra…Welcome!
Sundays I woke early, eagerly…a fun filled day of learning awaited me! We were few but we were like a family.
Today Little Extra is large, the alumnus is large and scattered, but it is still like a family. Any person who
went through a workshop at Little Extra would have been a changed person and this is what binds the people who
have been a part of it.
A small dream: to make a difference. This is what began
Little Extra. The Dream grew. It touched the lives of many.
My participation at Little Extra has, until now, been confined to the memories of my childhood. I have seen the
progress of Little Extra very closely. I have witnessed the struggle it has gone through to keep the dream alive,
the determination it has to stand for what it believes and to stick by those who believe in it.
Today I am proud to say I am a part of Little Extra. I love the work it does, I admire its vision, and I want to
contribute in every way I can to continue this work and help the organization to realize its cause. |
