| About Us |
  |
The most prominent feature of learning at Little Extra is freedom. Learners
are free to find their own pace, their own directions, and their own capacity to absorb and express.
The facilitator is an objective catalyst of this process.
Little Extra workshops follow a non-standardized mode of education:
one that acknowledges differences and caters to learners who are different and have different requirements. |
 |
We’re sixteen years old and always going
through change.
Little Extra was established in 1992 by Sangeeta Basu, better known as Bubu. Now Little Extra is driven by a core
group of 4 and a team of 4. |
 |
Little Extra looks at the familiar differently.
That’s why it isn’t a classroom. You attend workshops at Little Extra. A workshop teaches by doing. What you learn
through experience you don’t easily forget.
You never open a text, you never face an exam, and you don’t have a teacher.
But you don’t forget. Because in a workshop you get responsible about your own learning.
You find out how to become a better learner. You make mistakes. You evaluate yourself. You experiment. You choose.
You decide that you are going to be the best you can be. |
 |
Anyone who is interested in learning can
be a part of Little Extra.
We’ve worked with well-known schools in many cities; teachers; parents; colleges and professional institutes; NGOs;
and corporate houses.
We’ve worked with children as young as 9 years and adults as old as 52. We’ve worked in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata,
Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune and Patna. |

Little Extra at Work
|
| |
| There is a life beyond
chasing marks. Little Extra goes there. The Little Extra benefit is about finding out who one really is and not
being afraid to express that. The Little Extra experience is about creating one’s own intelligence. |
